How does the International Community respond to Conflicts and Natural Disasters?

In Conversation with Angus Lambkin at the Carnegie Library Hub.

Wednesday 11 December at 7.30 PM

The world is facing increasing outbreaks of violent conflict and humanitarian disasters, often exacerbated by climate change. Based on his experience Angus will give case studies and pointers as to how we might move forward. Angus has borne witness to some of the horrors taking place in disaster and conflict zones.  As an Emergency Humanitarian Specialist – Conflicts and Natural Disasters, Angus has worked on UN Humanitarian Coordination in Afghanistan, Iraq, Democratic Republic of Congo, Central African Republic, Cameroon, Haiti, Gambia, South Sudan and Turkiye.

There will be lots of opportunities for Questions and Answers.
