We are pleased to announce an extension of our Hub offerings, with the launch our new Nurture Programme! As a registered charity, we are happy to support sole providers and small medium enterprises that are looking to partner with the Hub as their Nurture Organisation and who have initiatives that are in alignment with our mission and values that need support and organisational backing to secure external funding from grants and offer space to host programming. Our Hub team will offer administrative help to shape the idea into a workable plan, and offer a critical eye to refine funding and grant applications. We provide the financial and organisational structure required to satisfy funder requirements, allowing the partner to focus on community impact. Lambeth’s Voluntary and Community Sector has a list of annual grants to keep on your radar if you or your organisation are looking for funding opportunities ranging from social value and wellbeing to community connections. We ended 2025 with two Christmas Markets and had the opportunity to partner with our new community cafe, The Carnegie Cafe by Sweet Carolina, and support many local traders. It was a great success with over 400 people attending the markets that were held over two consecutive weekends before the holidays last December. It was lovely to see the Hub, library, and cafe bustling with energy, community members, Father Christmas, and piano tunes! Thank you very much for your support and patronage. We’re thrilled to announce new, colourful navigation for our five wonderful, classic meeting rooms! Each room name reflects the unique spirit of our local communities. Your guests will love the new clear, colour-coded identities and the new totem signage all around the building which makes getting around super-easy. We were excited to create a visual identity for the hub that lends itself to our heritage building, and ties together our communities, our various stakeholders, and the activities that we host. Many thanks to the Creative Impact Club for their support of this project! The Creative Impact Club is a Peckham based not-for-profit volunteer platform for creative professionals to volunteer their skills to support local Social Impact Entrepreneurs, Charities and Community Initiatives. We were paired with a designer who helped us bring this vision to life. We chose to name the rooms after the communities we serve in Herne Hill, Loughborough Junction, Dulwich, Camberwell, and Brixton, and even have new signs for all the tenants in the building, The Library, Active Lambeth, and our new Carnegie Cafe by Sweet Carolina.
