Join our team of volunteers to bring the Hub to life
Carnegie Community Trust welcomes all volunteers. The Trustees are all volunteers and the small team of volunteers have helped with setting up and supporting events, cleaning and gardening. When the café comes on stream we will be recruiting volunteers to help in the café. We are looking for volunteers of all interests and abilities, from all parts of the area surrounding the library and we want our volunteer group to strongly reflect the diversity of our neighbourhoods.
What’s in it for a volunteer?
Getting involved is an opportunity to use existing skills for a good cause, as well as helping to run an historic building for the benefit of the community and working with other volunteers with different life experiences.
We have developed a short set of training modules for volunteers including Equality and Diversity, Safeguarding, Managing Heritage Buildings – also a Volunteer Handbook.
