We are now so close to opening a cafe at the Carnegie Library Hub, and to fully realise our vision for this amazing and unique space, we need a little help. Please contribute to our crowdfunding effort!
Your contribution can make a big difference, allowing us to furnish the cafe with comfortable seating, implement ‘zero waste’ systems, and cover all the extra setup costs. Every little bit helps, and we offer fantastic perks in return! If you’re unable to contribute financially, please consider sharing the project or making a donation to help us create a truly great hub at Carnegie Cafe.
This will be an amazing space open to all and serving a teas, coffees, cakes and snacks in a good range of prices to suit all budgets. The light airy space with high, heritage windows and warm, pine parquet flooring offers room for everyone to spread out in; for meet ups, a break from working from home, a space to do homework and exam prep, as well as tables for lunchtime get togethers. Part of the cafe room will be a community lounge that groups will be able to book free of charge in the afternoons.
The nature of the lease means the cafe has just 18 months to prove itself. We are all very confident that it will, but your help in this early stage will give the Cafe the start up boost that it really needs to get going with a flourish.
