The Carnegie Library Hub is humming!

Our mission to fill the building with a wide range of classes, events and community activity is coming together and we now have evenings and weekends bustling with a diverse programme that welcomes all members of the community.

Here’s our busy caretaker Callum signposting visitors to all the various activities last Wednesday – from packed Karate classes, to the relaxation of our monthly Gong baths, our regular Hatha yoga class, and the quiet connections and conversations coming out of the Death Cafe, a one off community event.

Week in week out we host music, drama, dance and karate classes for kids from early years up to school leaving age, as well as a range of yoga and wellbeing sessions that include holistic birth preparation, Reiki meditation and gong baths.

Get in touch if you have events coming up – our large, flexible rooms can to be rented out for a wide range of uses including catered events, kids parties, community groups, consultations, forums, filming, and exhibition space.
