Carnegie Community Trust welcomes all volunteers. The Trustees are all volunteers and the small team of volunteers have helped with setting up and supporting events, cleaning and gardening.
What’s in it for a volunteer?
Getting involved is an opportunity to use existing skills for a good cause, as well as helping to run an historic building for the benefit of the community and working with other volunteers with different life experiences.
We have developed a short set of training modules for volunteers including Equality and Diversity, Safeguarding, Managing Heritage Buildings – also a Volunteer Handbook.
