Raise the Roof is the resident choir at the Carnegie Library Hub in Herne Hill, South London. The Natural Voice Choir is led by choral composer Kirsty Martin. For this first session Kirsty will be joined by her new colleague, Rose Ford and they will be alternating weeks from then on. Stay tuned also for the seasonal Saturday singing sessions – these are always popular with regular choir goers as well as families and those who join for a fun morning of concentrated singing and performing! Everyone is welcome – there are no auditions and all music is taught by ear. They work towards informal community performances at the end of each term, as well as participating in bigger London productions such as Sing for Water each year. You can join Raise the Roof for the term, or for any number of drop in sessions you’d like!
