A one-day musical theatre workshop for young performers aged 10+. This engaging and high-energy masterclass explores the world of Wicked, developing confidence, creativity, and performance skills. Participants will learn iconic songs and scenes, improve their acting and singing techniques, and work in groups based on age and experience.
Led by Sarah Julia Cook, a drama educator with 15+ years of experience and a graduate of the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, this workshop provides a supportive and inspiring space for young people to develop their passion for theatre. No prior experience is needed—just enthusiasm and a love for performing.
The workshop includes acting, singing, and movement based on Wicked, confidence-building activities in a friendly environment, group work tailored to age and experience, and guidance from an experienced professional. Tutors are DBS-checked and first-aid trained.
The workshop takes place on Tuesday 18th February 2025 from 9:30 am to 3:30 pm at Carnegie Library Hub, Herne Hill, SE24 0DG. The cost is £40 per child, with a 10% sibling discount available.
