Carnegie Cafe Kickstarter Event and Crowdfunder

Thanks to everyone who dropped by last Saturday! It was wonderful to share a drink and hear all your ideas and feedback on plans for the Carnegie Cafe – a community space that will offer a welcoming spot for local meetups, group gatherings, homework sessions, Ruskin Park visits, and a lot more besides serving great coffee, tea, cakes, and a range of homemade or locally sourced food.

The event was a great success, and it was fantastic to see so many familiar and new faces. There was an excellent turnout, with people of all ages and backgrounds, and the Ideas Boards were filled with enthusiastic suggestions, showing just how much community support there is for a space like this in our area.

It was also a chance to meet Carolina from Sweet Carolina UK, who will be running the cafe. She’s excited to get started on this project, which has been a long time in the making. Please support the Carnegie Cafe Crowdfunder to help with setup costs and ensure the cafe opens as soon as possible.

To fully realise our vision for this amazing and unique space, we need a little help. Your contribution can make a big difference, allowing us to furnish the cafe with comfortable seating, implement ‘zero waste’ systems, and cover all the extra setup costs. Every little bit helps, and we offer fantastic perks in return! If you’re unable to contribute financially, please consider sharing the project or making a donation to help us create a truly great hub at Carnegie Cafe.

Thank you so much for your support, and feel free to share this with anyone who might be interested in helping out!
